I go through the whole menu of saying no no no to their offers to upgrade, tax review, IRS representation and all their other nuisance crap then at the last moment I see they want to charge me $19.95 to efile for the state?
There was no hint of a charge until the last moment and I almost fell for it.
I bet there will be a classs action suit over this in the next few years.
Next year will use Tax Cut. TT has become too greedy.
You will note that they are now trying to cover up the fault in the program instead of fixing it or at least letting the public know that you can't file 5 returns if you have a reject. Here is the link again to the You Tube video that shows the fault. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vt5YxSHLMic
Maybe you should look at the TaxCut products before you assume they include a state for free. They are the same as TurboTax...the online editions all specify "state additional fee" and their lowest (Basic) desktop version does not include a state return for the price, but all the higher versions do (just like TurboTax).
