Another year another bad version of Quicken - Customers revolt!!!
How does Intuit stay in business? I just checked Amazon for the most recent version of Quicken and more than half of the reviewers gave 1 star!!! Intuit forces users to upgrade every 3 years. Maybe they should call it what it really is...a downgrade.
THEY STAY IN BUSINESS BY CHARGING 2500 A COPY FOR Proseries professional tax software to CPA'S or charging 3,000 a copy for their La CERTE package. Then they also ship out millions of copies of TURBO TAX TO THE UNDERLINGS WHO MAKE LESS THEN 90K so they can do their returns at home on their PC. They now want to have you use their inhouse CPA'S, THEIR IN HOUR tax attorneys , their inhouse ENROLLED agents and give them blanket authority covering all 50 states for tax advice to COMPETE AGAINST their subscriber market. They just lost round 1 in a lawsuit filed by preparers who are upset by these new IRS rules that INTUIT AND H/R BLOCK were all gung ho for to eliminate the small local tax preparer competition.
THINK IT IS TIME FOR INTUIT TO BE REGULATED AFTER ALL IT IS A CONSOLIDATION OF 10 TAX SOFTWARE COMPANIES.. CHIPSOFT, PARSONS TECHNOLOGY, PROSERIES, LACERTE , BEST PROGRAMS and others...
