Who didn't anticipate the possibility of dramatically lower distributions? Who? There was precious little information disseminated by the trust, in fact none since the last distribution announcement. I just wasn't willing to sit blindly and hope. I started averaging down, but thought this is the wrong way, still making decisions in the dark. I sold and took my losses, that should have been much less had I not dallied with false strategies. Observe the trust for the next 2 or 3 quarters before investigating a dime. jmo
2mm is a one time cost so that took 12 cents from the distribution (remaining cost of the abandoned well). Excluding that, costs are still 2mm higher than prior quarter, which would have been another 12 cents. I do not understand the latter chunk, I am assuming its for expanding the drilling program, which will lead to higher distributions later.. At least there is no change in reserves form the abandoned well and they might drill it again this year.
