    Much ado about something...

The recent volatility, while extreme, is probably not something I'm gonna worry about: I've been long on ERF since September, 2001...4 years of dividends have kinda covered my entry price of US$14.95 per share ! !

( US$16.80 in dividends so far, and no end in sight )

    • tmacker,
I'm a long time holder of PTF. Bought it when it traded as NCN at US $9.65. Have collected many distribution checks, just like you. Recently, I have been buying HTE on this current weakness.
Like you, I,m not overly concerned with this downturn (been through them before).
I feel that the price of crude is still pretty high and these Canroys are racking it in. The recent distribution increase in ERF and a smaller one (only 1 cent) in PTF have shown this. I feel that the distributions are safe. After all, that is why I invest in these Canroys (for the monthly income).
The important thing to keep in mind is that the share prices of ERF and PTF will climb again. This is really an incredible buying opp. However, it may be a bumpy ride. Stay away from margin, buy these Canroys with available cash (if you have any). Hold on to them, and keep collecting your distributions. Everything will work out!
      regards,
      pe5k
