that is correct... DISH has fallen from 21$ per share since Nov. 8th... http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=DISH+Interactive#symbol=DISH;range=3mthat is about a 15% decline... at $21 per share DISH had a market cap of 9.4 billion$... currently it is around 8.15billion$ ... or a $1.25billion$ discount...is the market factoring in a big settlement? seems something is up in DISH shares...
Dish is nearing a 52 week low...the market obviously has no clue who will prevail in the en bancbased upon that...the risk/reward on tivo at these levels is amazing in my opinion
Don't hear much about how TIVO is doing with outsourcing programmers, but I think the market price for TIVO is still too high vs earning projections. Where is all the cash?
Rogers and his bandits are trying to get the lawyers to approve their scheme to get it into their hands and not to us.
I like the thought, but if you look at a 3-month chart comparing TIVO, DISH and the S&P 500 you see that TIVO is down 10%, Dish is only slightly negative and the S&P rose 10%.http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=dish#chart1:symbol=dish;range=3m;compare=tivo+^gspc;indicator=volume;charttype=line;crosshair=on;ohlcvalues=0;logscale=on;source=undefinedOver the 1 month period, both DISH and TIVO are down, but TIVO is still down more...granted DISH going down 6% in a month is a much higher dollar amount than TIVO being down 8%.
