Why is this stock dead money?

Moron. He's selling these licenses for a fraction of their value, and he totally screwed the pooch with DirecTV.

    • you don't have a clue. Tivo was getting nothing from ATT and others, now they are getting hundreds of millions. How stupid are you. Name another company which has won two significant hundred million+ deals in one year. 600+ million in one year!

as for Directv they had cut Tivo completely out. At least they have a directv sanctioned box. Something is better than nothing. Business is growing well. Tivo is in a much better position with a huge cash stockpile, new licensing, and growing subscribers now. They were not is a great bargaining position just a year ago with none of these. Looking forward, the deals should be sweeter. The ATT deal is certainly sweeter than others.

Tivo has gone from little cash and shrinking base to a giant cash base, new licensing deals, and growing subscriber base. It's an amazing transformation in one year. Look back at my old posts from a year ago. I told you so!

      >>All things are worth what you can get.
Somethings are better sold for less.
Lack of movement on news is supply demand related with view to long short futures in play.
Absolutely no doubt more news is days away.
Those who pay last pay more. All will pay. Foreign and US.
Collapse of short position play is days not weeks away.
