    • Yo smacys2 what are the odds of us both owning AWX and LEE? I like your style Brah...

deep value is more art than science and I too like the waste mgmt guy at AWX and also the monster price to cash flow here -- having debt in a hyperinflationary environment is a bonus...

      • I think it's possible this stock could go to $1.20. MNI is half of what it was from just a few months ago. I sold most of my LEE shares and am waiting until earnings announcement Nov. 8 to decide whether to buy any more shares. rematter is getting a little to pushy on this stock, I think he is getting desparate. Don't be blinded by your own personal views; Wall Street analysts hate media stocks, I don't see that changing anytime soon. A stock gains momentum from investors love affair with the company, and no one loves LEE right now. There's a lot more money to be made on other stocks. I just made 20 percent pop today on CSTR, I bought it a week ago. Red Box division is taking over the country in DVD sales.

    • Well - MNI refinanced when the 10 year was near 4% and the junk spreads were 150 basis points higher than here. Furthermore, my thesis is the take private idea from a much more credit worthy buyer who can extinguish higher yielding debt over time and put lower costing debt on the books forever changing the equity value of the companies. Take private, restructure debt, capture enormous cash flow, ad revenues stabilize, new model for growth emerges, re sell to public 3 years later at 8 times ebitda...

would be a 15 bagger or more..

The cash flows for this sector ARE growing. IPAD guarantees new revenue sources. And at under 1 times cash flow, whats the downside?????

Default??? Hardly a chance of that. Refinance will be easy given the cash flow coverage..

I think we're all pretty much in the same boat.
