The talk is about about WB's divestiture of LEE and the fall today in the stock price. This is normal, fitting and proper. But here's a contrarian look. Presumably, M. B was doing the deed in November and December. Yet, Lee's proce went from a close of $1.24 on Nov. 15 to $1.46 on Feb. 14. So while the market is (understandably) reacting to the news of the divestiture today, it is worth noting that there were plenty of buyers for WB's shares in November, December and (if he has sold the remainder since) in January as well.
