weakness today is frustrating. seems that we can't string together any sustained push upward. There's always something that derails a price recovery, whether it be internal firings, analyst views of the sector as a whole, or lowered guidance by another company. Seriously, this is a big company who just reported great earnings and is currently seen as undervalued by many analysts. it's disappointing to see today's price action coupled with lots of negative speculation based on the firing of two people. Are they key people at IW, yes, but given it's two people in a multibillion dollar enterprise, it's hard for me to believe that the sky is falling and that ATVI is no longer significantly undervalued as a result of this
Rumor it is yeah ur right... lolz...
Well, Infinity Ward is not super big anyway. And 2010, 2011 is the year for Blizzard to step up their game. I am still long on this since my entry is at high $9s. We'll see if the IW head studio really violates law in this case
"There eveidence you have it:"
Oh yeah I've read that old rumor. It cites "unconfirmed sources" and guesses that one of two studios is doing what these "unconfirmed sources" claim, because apparently the sources didn't know, LOL.
That's hardly "evidence". That's rumor.
omg... you're so behind on your research you need evidence? It's gonna be Sledgehammer games according to news.

Infinity Ward is rumored to start working on new project...
MSFT no longer has the head guy who made windows xp, vista, and windows 7. does that mean MSFT in trouble? They will find new talents whatsoever imo... And Modern Warfare 3 is already attached to another studio, not infinity ward.
Besides, if it's true that the head of infinity ward did some violation then they deserve to get axed
ATVI has gotten rid of the founding heads of Infinity Ward, creators of CoD and Modern Warfare. This will be the beginning of the end for that studio, and all that implies re future profit and IP generating potential.
