seriously, wow is not growing even 5% a year and it represents over 50% of operating earnings
and now i fear that COD will do less than last year and even if it doesnt how long can we keep this up?
where are our new BIG HITS? can anything move the needle here?
I've no idea what you said because I switched off when you started insulting me immediately, and for no reason.
I doubt that's how you act in real life, or is it? Whatever, don't bother answering.
That is the key...it takes time to penetrate interntational markets and the longer they have presence the more dividend it will pay in the long run. Other gaming companies don't come even close to the amount of international presence they have.
Not to mention Brazil is one of the top 5 largest economies in the world, and they are releasing WOW there sometime in next 18 months.
Perhaps ATVI could be more like ERTS. Stop making profits and just promise to make nearly $1 per share (repeat same promise every year...), stop paying dividends, stop buying back shares, and then ATVI could also be in the low $20's just like ERTS.
Clearly, having profits, dividends and buybacks isn't helping the valuation. So look to ERTS' leadership instead.
be less clueless
- TWO more expansions of starcraft 2, one in the next 12 months, another the year after. The first edition sold 3 million copies in the first month.
- Diablo III some time in the next 12 months, both Diablo I and II are some of the best selling PC games.
- They purchased Bungie a couple years ago... remember HALO? Bungie and Activision are reportedly working on an MMO.
You're talking about the best and most innovative video game company there is... more than EA and take two. They will always be making new games, and they will always be the best.
