Movies are a real possibility here. Marvel was acquired by Disney for $30 bucks a share plus .75 shares of Disney for every Marvel share held. It was the intellectual property that Disney was after, the characters. The movie possibility is discussed by Motley Fool analysts who mention it would be a good fit with great aftermarket products like figures and costumes, other paraphernalia. The CEO has also discussed the company doing it on their own, and ATVI is certainly closer with what they have now to a movie production than Marvel was with its soft copy comics.
Long term, you just can't ignore the possibilities going forward. Young investors with available capital should be looking to develop a strong position and keep the shares. Could be a huge payoff down the road, a risk worth taking. I've bought on every pullback and will continue to do so.
