Up until July the skippers of this fund, Derek Young and Joanna Bewick, bragged they were doing great, which of course was totally false. At the beginning of the year 08, this fund was at $10.41 and as of August 08,it was already down to $10.13. The fidelity report came out for the second quarter and it claimed a profit, which was complete fabrication, sort of like Freddie and Fannie. You be the judge.
Another thing, if you call the main number for fidelity and wait until you get some associate, they may make various recomendations to you , but if you ask any of them specific questions about a fund they just recommended, they have little to no knowledge. They are acting like Merrill did.
You could be right. I have it written down on a piece of paper on my desk here as of 12/27/07 and copied from the pc screen the $10.41 figure. A (9) cent jump for this fund in couple of days seems extreme, but then again look what happened in the last couple.
