Gee, maybe more sellers than buyers? How about the market is down and has been for several weeks? Or some other inane reason? It seems to me that any decline is an opportunity to add. There is NO reason the company should be down, just market circumstances. In fact, Based on predictions of energy production in the US, refiners should be golden for some time.
Unsophisticated unit owners actually received (and probably noted the fact when they reviewed their accounts this AM) the latest quarterly distribution today. Anyone inclined to sell can be absolutely certain today that they have captured their latest distribution, which is why many invest in CLMT in the first place.
Of course, the x-d date happened more than a week ago, when they SHOULD HAVE realized that they could sell at that point if they wished. This is a frequent event in the world of high-paying securities, IMHO.
