Interesting to see more players buying railcars, building out terminals, and shipping oil like CLMT did a year ago. Noticed some analyst indicating could be a significant factor in revenue. CLMT may have a surprise for shareholders at earnings announcement! Makes the barge project look even better!
Railcar transport is on a vertical curve up....oil, gas, & double stack transport container cars. Orders for new cars are building into a backlog. It's a plan to offset any major attack on the pipeline infrastructure, and hubs which would cripple flow at our peril. Rail, and trucking is the second line of defense when it come to vital energy flow of resources. It will continue to grow and is needed as pipelines catch up to producing wells. It will remain a vital Plan "B" transport venue far into the future. I am trying to pick the best player for a piece of the action.......Warren Buffet knows before we know, and he bought Burlington Northern.
