Hey Eri did you buy April put on CAGC? Someone is trying to corner the $25 puts. Oh my, 760 contracts changed hands today, and counting, and it just threw the option chain pricing all out of whack. That person (assuming it's one person) just threw down $100k on the betting table. Balls!
Huh? The anaylst forecast revenue to grow to $115M next year (2010) but the growth estimate says negative 30%. What gives? Also, 3rdQ results are missing on all the sites.
I found on this AOL finance page that CAGC is releasing earnings tomorrow:
I don't know. My bets are down. It'd be great if they report tomorrow so I can prepare the open bar for you guys on Friday or take my loss and move on. But if it's Monday, I can wait.
Gee Boss Ed,
Your squire makes a quick trip cross the border (Pensyltucky), and unattended boss gets in a Big Mess.
Edmundo, you really make it diffcult to root for you. Now we are likely to have two different pray services:
One for free liquer.
One for Edmundo's profits
I wonder which misguided soul will attend to latter.
May I inquire where you got the 79 cents 2010 EPS? They are projected to grow 50% as well, and they just finished capacity expansion so there shouldn't be any big expense coming up. Even with all the Carlyle new shares from October I don't see how 2010 EPS can go down that far. But I would like for that to be true lol!
The Carlyle warrants are not exercisable until sometime in April so the warrant adjustment, if applicable, will linger for a while. And if Carlyle exercises the warrants after April that's a more than 10% dilution. Either way it's not good for them.
Gee I don't know. Someone posted on the CAGC board that earnings is tomorrow.
The single analyst EPS estimate is $1.17. I wonder if the new share count from selling to Carlyle was factored in? And I wonder if this means CAGC will not report the warrant adjustment? Yikes!
And I wonder if the person(s) who bought those several thousand April and May out-of-the-money put contracts know for sure, or just guessing like I am? That's a lot of money to bet on a guess.
Ok, my apology to everyone for using this board to talk about CAGC. My final words: if CAGC tanks big time upon earnings, it's open bar for you all.
