    • Ed,
      I feel your pain, brother.

    • Hey Eri thanks for your kind heads up. Alas, it is much too late for that now. Her sister turned her on to the Tudors, and even bought her the Season 1 DVD set for Christmas. Now, I freely admit that it is a good series; I enjoy watching it. However, I don't enjoy the same episodes on a disc being played again and again. Couple that with the fact that she also switches to the two TV channels that are running it - one on repeats and one on new episodes - and I feel lost and schizophrenic because the chronology is supremely messed up.

By the way she also loves the movie "The Other Boleyn Girl" and plays that disc often. Double schizophrenia!

    • Ed,
just in case you did not see Showtime series 'The Tudors' - don't.

It is a very good series, but sadly seems to have astonishing addictive effect on female audience. My wife made me record each and all episodes over three years and the subjected me to repeat viewing during numerous weekends - 8 hours at the time.

It is available on DVD, if you want to run a little test with your girlfriend. BBC America is also running repeats and I don't dare to mention this to my wife. Would spoil my Dr. Who tapings.

    • This morning it was looking like a solid confirmation of the uptrend, with the volume well above average and the stock price taking out the 10 DMA at $7.35. But now it looks like we may have to wait for another day. Unless we have a late surge, $7.35 is not in sight, and the volume will not break one million shares. Still, like you said we have three consecutive green days in the making. We will have to go back to last October to find the same streak - that was when the stock went on the uptrend that topped out at its 52-week high of $9.49

    • "Funny you mentioned it, because when I said "Twilight again?" this morning, GF said she wish we had a copy of "The King's Speech" to watch."

    • More than 3, if the market cooperates. If you look at the 2yr chart, it has been very cyclical the past 18 months, and is just starting it's big climb (unless earnings or Egypt create a problem)!

    • I have a confession to make. On Friday I called a reversal to start on Monday [1]. When it didn't happen right away, and with Chinese New Year coming up, I thought it wouldn't happen after all. I actually sold 1k shares at $7.21, thinking that I'd rather have some more cash during the Chinese New Year doldrum. Turns out the market chooses exactly the New Years Day to take off [2]. Nonetheless I am more than happy that we have a reversal in the works.

[1] Asssuming the current trend is indeed a reversal, I was off by one or two days.
[2] It makes me wonder if a lot of shorts are operating from Hong Kong or even inside China. As in, it's New Years Day so they are not working to surpress the stock.

    • NYPD don't jinx it! lol Nice volume start in first hour. This could be an important day if we can a substantial high volume reversal. I'd love to see a big short squeeze (been thinking it would happen for the last 6 months). The conditions seem ripe this time, we shall see.
