This stock is very volatile, but my guess is that the main direction is still up towards the $7-8 target. So, yes, I hope it is bullish for a long time.
Why don't we see more recommendations ? Is OPCO the only analyst who covers AUDC ?
Shares are way over done here. Forced selling by one or two small funds is not indicative of what's going on at the company. What we need here is one or two 2 million share buyers. I sense they're right around the corner - funds love to purposely put a stock in a tail spin to freak weak hands out.
One thing's for sure - it's been a viciously quick downturn at a time when they seem to have released a whole lot of good news for the future. I suppose part of the downturn rationale might have to do with no immediate activity on Audiocodes after the Acme Packet deal... That's the nature of short term money I suppose, irrational as it may be.... Personally, I'm in AUDC with play money only so I'm not terribly concerned and am willing to see what happens. Having said that, I'm still thinking I'm pretty dumb to have let it slide this percentage amount without having taken my profit when I had it.... We'll see... we'll see..
I suspect that the investors do not "buy" the story of AUDC yet. They were burnt in the past, so they want to see a stable growth in the EPS ,Q after Q, before they are willing to raise the PPS to the $7-8, where it should be now according to the management estimations and 2013 forecasts.
So, bottom line is that Shabati is being looked by the investors as someone who should work hard to re-gain their trust.
Can Shabtai deliver, or will he disappoint again ?
