Kibble, while I appreciate the note, it doesn't really shed light on the nature and scope of the so called problem. The final statement that the warnings would apply to stores means working conditions in China are similar to WMT stores in America.
That is not exactly a sweatshop environment is it ?
OK, so how does joe consumer / investor breach through the barriers to determing the scope of the labor problem ?
Does WMT deny any vendor violates, or does WMT say they change vendors when they discover serious violations ?
Those are two very different approaches. Onen is honorable, one is intolerable.
