The CEO and upeer level management positions are minimum wage jobs! The only reason they pay more is that there is no entry level jobs to become a CEO, so they are filled by the sons and daughters of the wealthy. There is nothing that can be done. The limiting upper management salaries is the thing that allows public companies to compete with privarte companies.
There is one thing, that can be done. When I IPO is initialized, there should be wording that the officers recievce no options and 30 percent of there pay in stocks. But the real clincher is: NO ONE IN THE COMPANY SHOULD MAKE MORE THAN 5 TIMES THE LOWEST PAID EMPLOYYEE
