I first bought NCZ in early 09 in the mid 5's. At times I've had tens of thousands of shares and it has certainly served me well and never failed to pay the div. But if I've learned one thing about this fund it's that at the first sign of trouble, say a 3% pullback, the premium will disappear in an instant. With this thing over 10% it just isn't the safe place to hide anymore. I'll be back when it's a more reasonable 3-4% above book. GLTA
kids... I first bought NCZ on 30 Aug 10 @ 8.61, then again on 25 Jan 11 @ 9.17 and again on 27Dec 13. All total 5373 shares. I own this CEF for the regular dividend. I also own its cousin NCV with a total of 6324 shares. To me, these 2 funds have been 2 of the best of 21 CEFs I have in my account. I've seen the price vary very little...Hope you don't regret selling. I've made my share of mistakes since going in the market in 1988. Good luck to you.
Of the different income funds, NCZ is the most stable and gives some increases in share prices. very good fund. I picked it because it holds fixed instruments like bond and notes with very little stock
