    how much is it going to cost to prove it? This looks like a U.S. Supreme Court case.

    If one follows the CFPB theory, they would have jurisdiction over just about every business in the U.S. except those specifically omitted by statute. E.g., you hire a kid to babysit; you don't have cash in your wallet when you get home and tell her "I'll pay you tomorrow." That's an extension of credit ... Bingo!
