I saw the same thing happen to Rite Aid (RAD) about four months ago. RAD was at $50 a share and went down to $38 a share on no bad news. Then the other shoe dropped, a very bad forth quarter. Then the stock dropped down to 22. ESI should have a .05 earnings for this quarter. I think the people in the know, know something. The rest of us will find out in the next couple weeks. I bought at 22 3/4 and sold at 25 a few weeks later. I was thinking I jumped off too soon, when the stock was at 28+. ESI is a good company. If they hit the .05 eps for the quarter the stock will jump right back. The next couple of days and weeks will be a white knuckler. JimmyinCal
Do not know of any news..except the one today..telling of the increase in enrollment..because of it program. Am gonna try to ride this one up a bit..but have lost so much in my 401K. its not funny. and now have to make a desicion if I jump from HOT to esi.in my 401K any ideas out there?
Hot lost almost a billon dollars the first quarter. Why? My AOL info. doesn't give a straight answer. The company has had 3 out of 6 bad quarters. The p/e is negative and will be negative for a while. If Hot can sell a few big assets, the numbers will look alot different. If not, the stock price will take a big dip. (low 20's/ high teens). The median price has been in the low 30's. The 2nd quarter numbers should be out soon. My guess......The EPS for the 2nd quarter will be low and the stock will drop to the low 20's in the next few weeks. My two cents worth. JimmyinCal
