    The entrapping jobless plunge (1)

    >> . . . Rush went into some thought-provoking detail:<<

He's right. If the government controls your finances, your health care and your energy consumption they have license to control virtually every single thing you do.

    >>What do you think now of those puzzle pieces, the plunging jobless line depicting Obama's job _destruction_ on his way toward bludgeoning Americans with his health "care" plot that serves to euthanize much of the US's population, preserving the younger members for his alleged aim of mandated volunteerism?<<

I've thought from the start he's out to destroy the economy so he (as the government) can pick up the pieces and string them back together however he wants (destroying capitalism in the process because he certainly doesn't like capitalism). The problem is the great majority won't believe it until it happens and maybe not even then. We are so screwed.

Plus, as you know, this government has been striving to silence conservative talk radio . . . and what will Obama order his "Internet czar" to do? Have you been keeping up with the hate crimes bill?

<S.909 . . . allows the federal government to prosecute people involved in “hate speech” transmitted over television, radio, and the internet. The House version of the bill states:

Whoever transmits in interstate or foreign commerce [radio, TV, internet] any communication, with the intent to coerce, intimidate, harass, or cause substantial emotional distress to a person, using electronic means to support severe, repeated, and hostile behavior, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both. (HR 1966, SEC 3, Sec. 881a)

In other words, if a talk show host engages in “hostile” speech against a person or persons of the above mentioned federally protected group that talk show host will face federal prosecution and the prospect of a two year prison term.

      . . .

California Democrat Rep. Linda Sánchez introduced the Megan Meier Cyberbullying Prevention Act in April . . . .

      . . .

Whoever transmits in interstate or foreign commerce any communication, with the intent to coerce, intimidate, harass, or cause substantial emotional distress to a person, using electronic means to support severe, repeated, and hostile behavior, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both…

. . . the bill will allow the government to go after bloggers and internet journalists engaged in speech that may result in “emotional distress.”

      . . .

HR 1966, S.909, the Megan Meier Cyberbullying Prevention Act and other such legislation will be used to . . . silence the opposition. . . .

S.909, sponsored by Kennedy, has 44 cosponsors including Specter, Kerry, Dodd, Rockefeller, Lieberman, Boxer . . . no surprises in the list.

His standing in Rasmussen's index (in the only nonbiased poll, IMO) has sunk from a +28 on 21 January to a -2 on 2 July. But even at that, 33% still strongly approve of his actions vs 35% strongly disapproving, and the poll's Total Approve percentage is 53% vs the Total Disapprove at 46%. People will probably still think he's Glory Incarnate when their conservative family members and friends disappear. That prospect is REAL and terrifying!

Can the situation in Honduras eventually influence that in our corrupt government? Do you think the Honduras Constitution-mandated government can hold out against Zelaya? Is Honduras's militia solidly on their Constitution's side? You've guessed, I do not doubt, why Obama is pulling for Zelaya.

I hope you were able to find my post at the 'other site'. Inserting bullets was the only way I could relay the URL. I think one of the charts is what you were looking for (comparing the current job losses vs those in the Great Depression), but the chart doesn't go beyond April.

I can't believe suppressing speech of a non threatening, just of the I hate your guts, sort is unconstitutional . . . I don't think it will get past the SC. How in the hell can they outlaw the expression of emotion?

I don't know but interfering with the enforcement of Honduran law (which is what happened when Zelaya tried to make himself president for life illegally) should be an abomination to genuine freedom loving democrats/republicans the primary hallmark of said form of government being rule by law not rule by a man. Of course communists/socialist/fascists have no such compunctions so I guess we know where Obama stands by whom he supports.
