AT&T In Talks To Re-Sell Akamai or Limelight’s Enterprise CDN Serviceshttp://blog.streamingmedia.com/the_business_of_online_vi/2012/08/att-in-talks-to-re-sell-akamai-or-limelights-enterprise-cdn-services.htmlI see that based on my post, other news outlets are reporting that AT&T would "shut down" their CDN, however that's not something I said. But it will be a good win for whichever vendor gets it.
Dan Rayburn can you tell us which vendor will get the vig from T? In your opinion of course
I don't know which vendor will get it, I am only reporting what I have heard. If I were to pick one I would be guessing, so I won't do that.

Does anyone on the planet believe that AT&T is capable of managing their own content distribution system?
They should be, but sadly the answer is they can't seem to.
"But it will be a good win for whichever vendor gets it." ONLY if it is a profitable deal that doesn't destroy margins.
If it is enterprise business, it will be profitable.
Thanks Dan, appreciate the info. Funny, I have always believed that if AKAM were to be bought out, it would be by T...but partnering would be better still from my point of view keeping AKAM independent.
