The CEO purchase of 80,000 shares looks impressive on the face. However, he already owns 3,000,000 shares. Same with Director purchase of 25,000 shares (adding to the 700,000 he already had.)
Those are the only two insiders who have made meaningful purchases since they disappointed the Street.
Thus, unlike what a popular (but often-wrong) TV pundit spouted last night, only 2 (and not "nearly all") insiders bought and their buys, versus their existing positions were less than 3%....In fact they have a lot to gain by improving the perception of insider support for the stock ; )
