As an old conservative Republican (Wingnut as Imotto says), I just became a Zell Miller Democrat or Sen. Miller just became a real Republican (Not neo-con). Would like to see Sen. Zell Miller or Gen. Tommy Franks president of the US. Great men. Harv
arkie: "It was Hussein who killed 600,000 Iraqi civilians."
Imotto: Didn't you write this on an earlier post?
OK -- I'll bite. The last figures I read were on the order of 5,000 to 10,000, NOT the 600,000 you quoted. But perhaps you have more up-to-date news or figures I might have missed. If so, pass them on, as well as the source.
Of course, 5000 - 10,000 is a nasty number on its own. Not unusual by any means, in the ways of the world, but nasty.
So is 1000 dead American soldiers and 13,000 Iraqis since 2003.
Bush has been so lucky. The benefactor of a Hegelian masterpiece carved out by others. Well he is supposed to go. He and His old Man really began to believe in some sick destiny. Heheh.I really have to laugh!Deus Meincorporum. Well,Sayanara Amigo. Stop kicking Bucko. It ain't about you. There's the plan and then there is you. And you don't count. Bucko. Plenty of fun up ahead mates!
When we the people have a 24/7 media propaganda umbrella led by shut the Fox up Oreilly and surrounded by sunup to sundown rightwing and religious righteous nuts then what do we expect that the masses confused and scared ready to follow someone that has sure shot answers to? We are well on our way to hitech hell which can go either to orwells big brother or the passive Huxley's Brave New World. Of course we could just muddle along for awhile untill what we're doing to nature finally intrudes.
Sounds like a easy bone to pick but one Senator's special interest wouldn't have singled him out for abuse. Hordes of subsidies get buried in the bills like the farm bill. Bush came in and thought he owned the Congress. Too bad for Jeffords after 2002 he did.
If you knew anything, you would know that Senator Jeffords of Vermont wanted too much money for milk price supports for his rich dairy farmer constituency in Vermont. The Bush administration just wasn't going to be pressured into raising the price of milk for his support.
