Could everyone flag the mullah_gumbo flood for spam abuse again, please?
I take exception to that remark. The mullah's point of view and mine only barely intersect. My entire point is that the US doesn't have the authority, legal or especially moral to tell any other sovereign country what they will or won't do when it does not directly effect us. On the religious issues he raises, I feel that the one that he addresses as Allah is not El Shaddai or Yahweah and as a result feel he's made a bad choice. I still afford him the right to do so.
Read George Washington's farewell address and you'll better understand my point of view. Moreover, the actions of American presidents over the last 40 years are fraught with violations of our constitution and that's just a simple fact. I don't like it one bit and anyone that holds liberty dear shouldn't either. I cannot, however, speak for the mentally indigent.
