    • <<Canadiasm? That sounds like something you would enjoy with your spouse.>>

My interpretation of Canadaism is the 6" tongue & groove cedar siding, the particle board on the walls and roof, the sticks (2 x 4's) too.

Of note; a couple of weeks prior to my first truck load of cedar siding. George-the-lessor,
(soon to be george-the-gone) imposed a 28% soft lumber tax on Canada. Spit!
Then a couple of years later the WTO ruled in favor of Canada and the tax was deemed illegal
and the tax removed. Just my luck,...the only thing my wife ask for in the building of our three homes was cedar siding. Smile

Say it. Say the name. Rothschild. Smile

    • Wikipedia is hardly a credible source. For all we know YOU wrote that crap, which curiously finds itself in direct controversy with what the scholars and notables indicated in the easily verifiable information that I posted.

      Nice try Nimrod.

Moreover, if you cling to the story that you are Ashkenazi, you cannot legitimately call yourselves Semites either.

Japheth was not descended from Shem.

    • Regarding who is a Jew:

      Genetic studies of DNA
      (snip)

Moreover, DNA tests have demonstrated substantially less inter-marriage in most of the various Jewish ethnic divisions over the last 3,000 years than in other populations.[25] The findings lend support to traditional Jewish accounts accrediting their founding to exiled Israelite populations, and counters theories that many or most of the world's Jewish populations were founded by entirely gentile populations that adopted the Jewish faith, as in the notable case of the historic Khazars.[25][26] Although groups such as the Khazars could have been absorbed into modern Jewish populations — in the Khazars' case, absorbed into the Ashkenazim — it is unlikely that they formed a large percentage of the ancestors of modern Ashkenazi Jews, and much less that they were the genesis of the Ashkenazim.[27]

      (snip)

Points in which Jewish groups differ is largely in the source and proportion of genetic contribution from host populations.[29][30] For example, Teimanim differ from other Mizrahim, as well as from Ashkenazim, in the proportion of sub-Saharan African gene types which have entered their gene pools.[29] Among Yemenites, the average stands at 35% lineages within the past 3,000 years.[29] Yemenite Jews, as a traditionally Arabic-speaking community of local Yemenite and Israelite ancestries,[30] are included within the findings, though they average a quarter of the frequency of the non-Jewish Yemenite sample.[29] The proportion of male indigenous European genetic admixture in Ashkenazi Jews amounts to around 0.5% per generation over an estimated 80 generations, and a total admixture estimate "very similar to Motulsky's average estimate of 12.5%."[24]

DNA analysis further determined that modern Jews of the priesthood tribe — "Kohanim" — share a common ancestor dating back about 3,000 years.[31] This result is consistent for all Jewish populations around the world.[31] The researchers estimated that the most recent common ancestor of modern Kohanim lived between 1000 BCE (roughly the time of the Biblical Exodus) and 586 BCE, when the Babylonians destroyed the First Temple.[32] They found similar results analyzing DNA from Ashkenazi and Sephardi Jews.[32] The scientists estimated the date of the original priest based on genetic mutations, which indicated that the priest lived roughly 106 generations ago, between 2,650 and 3,180 years ago depending whether one counts a generation as 25 or 30 years.[32]

Beyond intra-Jewish genetic interrelationships, other findings show that by the yardstick of the Y chromosome, the world's Jewish communities are closely related to Arab Israelis and Palestinians,[33][34] who together as a single population also represent modern "descendants of a core population that lived in the area since prehistoric times", albeit religiously Christianized and later largely Islamized, and both ultimately culturally Arabized.[33] The authors of one of the studies wrote that "the extremely close affinity of Jewish and non-Jewish Middle Eastern populations observed ... supports the hypothesis of a common Middle Eastern origin".[24]

    • Wow. No commentary, boys and girls???

    • The 1980 Jewish Almanac's first chapter entitled “Identity Crisis” begins with the following admission: “Strictly speaking, it is incorrect to call an ancient Israelite a 'Jew' or to call a contemporary Jew an 'Israelite' or a 'Hebrew.'” This fact is confirmed by several other Jewish sources and individual Jews. For example: The Jewish Encyclopedia (1905); The Standard Jewish Encyclopedia (1966); Nathan M. Pollock, Professor of Medieval Jewish History of Tel Aviv; Bernard Lazare; Robert Quillan; Dr. Benjamin Freedman; James Yaffe; Paul Meyer and many more. Dr. Oscar Levy went so far as to declare: “And are not they [today's Jews] the inventors of the Chosen People myth?” The Thirteenth Tribe, by Arthur Koestler, presents countless historical and scientific facts, which exposes this fraud. Why hasn't Christendom and the nations of the world been told that the people of European origin known as “Jews” are not descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob?

History reveals that the modern so-called Jews are actually descendants of the fierce Turkish, Khazar tribes which roamed the steppes of southern Russia and who adopted the religion of Judaism between the 7th and 9th Centuries. Today, the Khazars are known as “Ashkenazi Jews” and “Israelis” not because of race or genealogy, but because of religious conversion. As stated, the Bible declares that there would be Israelite impostors; these impostors have inadvertently or deliberately identified themselves by their own writings. Therefore, if “they” are not true Israel , someone else must be!

    • Humor ARRR I do My wife is from Canadia. ARR Regards Max

    • Canadiasm? That sounds like something you would enjoy with your spouse.

    • Densefog:.. The said Jewish Religion involves several writings, namely Torah (Tanakh), Mishna and Talmud. (Torah is closely related to Old Testament of Christianity). So this is the basis of the said Jewish Religion which today is also refered to as Judiasm.

Jew is said to be an English abbreviated Translation from a Yiddish Word (Yuhudi)(meaning an Israelite or Hebrew of the Ancient Middle East).Judean (English word) would likely mean from Yuhudi and therefore Judean would relate to nationality as would the English word, Jew.

There is probably a better name than Judiasm for the religion but it would likely be in Yiddish. In my opinion a religion should not include the name of a Nation or Territory..

So the confusion continues unless someone can define it better. Could my religion be Canadiasm, I wonder?

      HS..

    • You don't think Judaism is a religion?
