If a Mexican broke into your house and said: "You have to let me stay because I washed your dishes, did your laundry and mowed your lawn. Your house is nicer than mine so you have to let my family live with you because, after all, I'm just trying to build a better life for them. Also, you're going to have to pay for my kids' education and our medical insurance whether you can afford it for your own kids or not. If you don't, I'm going to smear you as a racist and have thousands of marchers show up on your front lawn and harass you."
Honestly - what would you say to that person?
I would say, "thanks, you were paid for your work, now go back to Mexico and work hard and fix your own country."
Isn't it primarily the Republicans that are pushing for illegals to stay here?
As a business owner, I can still find enough legal residents to do the work we do, however, Mexicans are killing the standard of living for blue collar people by having twenty people in a house and working for peanuts. I would just as soon they leave immediately.
Using Dem "logic" regarding the deportation of illegals, if an accountant embezzles money from a company he shouldn't be charged with a crime (or give the money back) if he stole the money to "make a better life for himself", right?
True. Where do you draw the line? If a law is on the books enforce it. If you don't like it then change it. But don't ignore it. If we ignore it, then who gets to decide which laws get enforced and which get ignored?
Libs like to whine that there's no way we can deport 10 million illegals so we shouldn't try. That's like saying "we're not going to solve EVERY murder and rape, so we shouldn't try to solve ANY".
