I wish SEC and the feds got more involved, but they're all corrupt anywhere. There are NO sellers. Yet all the prices across the markets keep skidding. Correction? My ass, look how someone messed up yesterday and the market dropped 1000 points in 10 minutes.
It's so obvious how much corruption occurs daily at Wall Street. Wish someone did something about it since small guys like us have no shot at anything these days.
What that MAJOR screw up yesterday did was tell ALL the money (trillions) that was sitting on the sidelines in CD's, money market funds, bonds, t-bills, etc, "YOU CAN'T TRUST THE MARKET, CAN YOU? BURNT ONCE SHAME ON YOU, BURNT TWICE SHAME ON ME!"
So those who think the market is crooked should just get out or accept that it is and understand it's just whining when you KNOW it's rigged but you choose to keep participating. Doesn't that sound reasonable. The SEC isn't going to do ANYTHING about the crooks except blah, blah, blah, once in awhile and arrest some dope like Maddoff when he confesses. Goldman-Sachs was the second largest contributor to Obama over a twenty year period as I recall--so don't expect any help from that quarter. Whatever they do to Goldman will only wind up helping them make more money down the road.
