    From the S&P website:

I will update you guys because I feel there isn't one of you with a lick of sense, who are continuing to DCA blindly and will lose your shirt....AGAIN.

PE based on operating earnings: 58.66, Div Yield 2.63%. Not a typo, go to their site at least as part of your Due Diligence.

Considering true bull markets have begun at about parity between these two measures, you guys putting money in BETTER have a 40 year timeframe.

I know I'm raggin' but I just telling you to at least go to the S&P website and know what the hell you are buying and WHY.

    WALL, out.

    • Sorry,

You guys made me so mad with your lameness I mis-wrote:

The Index PE is based on REPORTED earnings. Regardless, historical bull markets start at about par Or SOMEWHERE REMOTELY CLOSE between the two measures.

FOR EXAMPLE: In future "head in the sand utopia-land" the Index PE based on reported earnings is 8.34 and the dividend yield is 4.32%. I'd say by all means start a Bogle-esque buy and hold, and NEVER look at your statement. HA.

      Have a great weekend,
