morning- The entire bio-tech sector is like that now. You just have to pick a company hold and hope you picked a winner. You may be down 50% one week and up 75% the next lol. Great for day traders I suppose but to be in on the big pops you have to be long. Thats the game - good luck!
Yeah, all true, but that doesn't alleviate the frustration. There always seems to be a lower bottom in wait right after opening a position... Anyway, I'm holding a few bio stocks now for over a year and this is probably the least speculative of them, I think the consensus price target will be revised upwards by more than one analyst after the next significant announcement. Now if only I could say the same about MRNA :P I am leaning toward doing only, or mainly, daytrading after I close the current portfolio (hopefully end 2011).
