My own experiences at Best Buy are that I often SHOP products there to get an idea for variety and price when I am browsing for such information and need a baseline for Ebay or MicroCenter. I rarely BUY at Best Buy and as a computer consultant have nothing but disdain for the cursed Geek Squad desk. They also have inventory they should NOT have, such as washing machines sometimes or heavy lifting stuff. Let Sears sell that line of product. Books? Leave that to Barnes. They have to eliminate niche lines and products and concentrate on their real market which is easy shopping for home theatre, video and related hardware AND software.
