Which electronics retailer costs more to operate? Multiple 40,000 sq.ft retail spaces with 40 employees each, lease expense, utilities, theft, etc.. OR 40,000 sq. ft warehouses with 10 employees, theft control and .....? Sales tax them the same and which one can have a lower cost of goods sold? Ponder that.
We pondered it and rejected the idea. Using your "always negative" so called "logic" Walmart, Target, and the other retailers will also succumb to Amazon. If everyone buys everything online, why, so we dont need big box retailers, why is the post office doing so poorly? They should be making a mint delivering EVERYONE's big screen TV's so that people can steal them before they get home. BBY has an online department, and its profits are up 10%. Dont you read?
BBY is a buy
I remember back when Gateway was the #1 computer company. People used to drive around and look for the cow design boxes on people's doorsteps and steal them. It cost Gateway a fortune. Does Amazon guarantee delivery or do you have to take a day off work to be home when the UPS driver throws your $2999 Samsung TV onto the snowpile?
I would NEVER buy a TV online. Just everything else that goes with it. TV's I can buy anywhere. Like Target, Walmart, Sams, Costco, often same or less and I'm not hassled. Better warranties at clubs too.
