Hanging your hat on BBY turnaround on level playing field if ALL states with sales tax are applied online? Currently, that's in place in Texas. Most items (Like accessories) are still cheaper online with the tax, including BBY's own website, because they don't have the overhead! Once you people learn that BIG BOX ELECTRONICS BBY (stores) will have few items to compete with and biz model is DEAD AND can understand the difference between them and your Home Depots, Costcos, Walmarts, Krogers, Targets, Costcos, blah blah, maybe that light bulb will go off in your head? : )
What about Conn's??? Their niche' is for special financing and stores not as large.
Shoot me (stand in line longs. lol) if I hear anymore about "expert advice" at stores! What far reaching propaganda that is when you can get that online advice without upsell and bias. That's BBY grasping at straws for nothing else to hold on to.
Didn't you mother love you enough? didn't she take you to BBY to glance at those nice TVs store? Didn't your daddy buy you a nice big juicy sucker candy when you were little gal? you seem owefully bitter
BBY and AMZN just taxed me 8.25% on a order! How dare they!! I could have spent $30 more at the store and got the same tax! I could have spent $5 on fuel for my SUV to get there and back and got the same tax! I could have spent another $5 returning one of the defective items and got the same tax! This online taxation sure is a pain!!!
The desperation card "taxation" argument is humorous. Forget Amazon from the equation. Some posters still don't understand that BBY online is able to sell most goods cheaper due to lack of overhead their stores have. Do some comparison shopping yourselves. Shall we revisit the HDMI cable for starters?
As the tide of ignorance recedes, the exposure of a DEAD BUSINESS MODEL is on the sand. BIG BOX ELECTRONICS IS DYING. Company says so. Simple.: )
