This video on the news page is spot on, and unless Best Buy does something radical, such as match the price of competitors instead of being showrooms for Amazon, it should close it's doors. The buyout seems to be gone forever.
They ARE matching prices now! Problem is they still don't carry most accessories found online cheaper and they can't continue to match the rest due their higher "cost of goods sold". It's inevitable death for big box electronics.
They are matching alright at close to no margin. They can't carry all the overhead and compete with Amazon and Wal-mart. Simple math. Priced a laptop bag the other day. $100 with tax at BB, $60 at Amazon. Bought amazon, taking BB product back for refund. They would lose money at $60 by the way.
