I bought my iPhone 5 there at Best Buy back in December/January. They had a deal for one weekend only. It was great! There were two lines. One for Galaxy SIII, which was selling for $50 bucks and the iPhone 5 which was selling for $50 bucks OFF. I thought people would swarm the GS3, given the fact that it was a much better deal than the iPhone 5, but I promise you, there were 4 parties who came and went for the GSIII, while the iPhone line was very very long. It wrapped around the whole mobile phone section of the store!
I bought a 3D TV a couple months ago. Also bought the James Bond box set for my son. I got a great price on both of them. However, I did not buy the HDMI cables, surge protectors, etc from them. And I didn't buy the protection plan. I actually like Best Buy, the store. I also liked Borders and Circuit City. However, I have no "blind loyalty" to any retailer. I see no valid reason for the stock to be over single digits...none! Their business model stinks and sadly they will go the way as many other retailers. There is too much overhead to operate one of their stores...they will not be successful trying to match the pricing of on-line and big box stores.
