    Life is a trade off

When you kept quiet when the company did something wrong. When they belittled an employee. You made a choice and kept quiet .Therefore yes you were bought and paid for.Your time which you will never get back was spent. No one imprisoned you on the job,you stayed for the decent living? Are you complicit in their onerous behavior.Yes but hopefully only to make a living.Only you can know whether you made the correct choice.

    • Wouldn't it of been easier to respond to the topic you started instead of creating a new one? My time was spent earning a living to support my family. I don't understand keeping quiet when supposedly the company did something wrong. If I felt something was unsafe I didn't do it, if I felt it was unethical I protested but made sure I had witnesses jotting down date, time , and officials name. As for management belittling an employee it's nothing new. In fact I had a general roadforeman who used that tactic to see if a person could elevate to a position of making decisions under pressure. Which before I left most new conductors couldn't do anything with calling the trainmaster. I belittled them for the inability to do their job by being incapable to make choices which is the conductors job description. Not everything is CSX fault. The biggest blame lousy training which the UTU allowed by selling out the last brakemen in 1993.

    • Thanks for the philosophical points on life...meanwhile we're still waiting on the KOG board for you to tell us what to invest in that is such a great buy (or at least better than KOG) since you said there were sooooooo many other stocks out there that were. And of course, we need it before it happens, not looking back at the best from the day prior and telling us that is what we should have bought that one
