CSX may bully and push around the small people, but we will unite and stand with them, as the brute force of railroad oppression is revealed to the investors. The state pension funds are a good source, that will respond to written correspondence. On the 50th anniversary of MLK demonstrations in Birmingham, its time to unite and stand up to CSX oppression, as they CSX, bring out the water hoses of ignorance.
Why would CSX offer 25k per household for sound protection if they didn't think it was a problem? In some places in europe the homes are adjacent to tracks but the homes are soundproof and vibration proof. Thats what that Mason City folks need.
Ok, I have a serious question: Can you provide evidence that CSX has a history of targeting predominantly black neighborhoods for rail expansion? I ask because it sounds to me like you're a NIMBY whiner exploiting racial tensions to further a non-racial cause.
Why does CSX appear in the neighborhood and tell the folks that the railway is coming and there is nothing they can do about it? The residents rally and seek help from the Birmingham City Council, city hall rejects them. They appeal to the state, no help. CSX is big and powerful, with the power of dictatorship, its outlawed by the US Constitution. The Railroads need to pay like everyone else, this special dictatorship they have is in the past. Capitalism rules, if this was a wall mart store, CSX would pay millions for the right, but poor retired folks? nothing. I guess the gestapo agents from CSX will show up soon. Even freedom of speech is unheard of at CSX. Everyone that questions CSX is crushed, why? WE THE PEOPLE.
