    Containers New KING for rails

Coal; Due to Obama/EPA they told domestic dirty coal plants, that don't have clean coal tech/scrubbers they
would be shut down by 2016. They shut down earlier due to newfound growth of natural gas selling around $2...about half the price of coal. CSX had coal revenue loss of $519 million, on "domestic coal". That hurt.

Today CSX coal shipments are down around 5.5% for Q2 compared to Q2 for here's a shocker for some. Domestic coal shipments are actually up around 3% and today and going forward will depend on cost of NG which is now around $4 and now more coal being bought. Export coal is what's dragging the total down and a simple reason why ! CSX announced for 2012 "export coal" would be around 40 million tons, but they actually shipped 48 million. Why.....Australia coal mines flooded and Europe needed, a one time event,
for US to increase shipments to make up needed difference.
Export coal demand will continue to grow, but today comparing last year Q2 with this year.....CSX estimates 40 million tons exported for 2013....back to normal growth with Australia mines open. This one time event makes coal total appear that they are still losing volume.....wrong...just Australia's share !

Free trade agreements/FTA's: US today has FTA's with 20 countries, counting the 3 added during 2012.
While the entire world is in slowdown/recession the US made products that was exported grew 4% making new record. Sure some growth due to population, but not 4%...most was due to cheaper prices on US made products, thanks to FTA's with many more to follow ! Today the US along with 10 other countries are about to complete the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement making US products much cheaper for millions of people, and demand will grow for something hardly seen today....tagged..... made in USA

Containers: The "growth" for CSX on containers shipments, during world slow down, grew earnings $516 million in 2012.....this soon will be new rail KING
