    Bill Mann & the U.S.

I'm in, I've got to take care of some near term financial concerns but I definitely have to find some room for this one. Look out bill MKArch is coming soon! I've felt the doom and gloom about the U.S. was setting up U.S. stocks to outperform for a while now and as a long time TMF H.G. sub I am a big time Bill Mann fan. I'm excited about this fund.

If you read this post Bill I'd love to see you give the big home builders a good look. They are muddling through right now with new home sales and starts at ~33% of the 50 year average and natural demand. They certainly benefited from the excess of the bubble but with sales going up 300%-400% from the beginning of the last decade to the height of the market mid decade while home starts in general only went up ~30% they benefited a lot more from taking market share from traditional regional builders. They are all sitting on the sidelines right now waiting for the foreclosures to clear out so that they can compete in a more rational market. Eventually new home starts will get back to their long term and natural demand range which will be a tripling from current levels and the big builders will almost certainly outperform the market in general. That's my big home builder CAPS pitch anyway. Disclosure long LEN.
