This is great , cramer gets on tv and says buy , buy , buy . one guy with 1800 shares moves a $34 stock 3 points in 60 seconds and to a 52 week all time high and the sheep follow him .
If I did not see it with my own eyes I would never believe it . This is the funniest thing I have ever seen in all my years.
If you lined up all the turbines this company has you would never be able to duplicate this price action .
I dont know if this ever even happened in the history of the stock market , 1800 shares moved a 34 $ stock 6.21% in less than a minute. Its a good thing somebody left a sell order in afterhours because this thing might have gone to $100 as there were no other sellers at all to buy from .
Cramer himself would be saying sell , sell , sell , but he cant because he is rolling on the floor laughing so hard .
Someday this stock will be worth over $34.00 but not today it aint. Wait until morning when the market maker comes in sees this . When he is done laughing , He is going to say this is easier than taking candy from a baby when he shorts this sucker down 2 ponts .
A little note to the guy with the 1800 shares , get a new broker because yours sucks for after hours trades.
If this thing does not sink faster than the titanic in the morning , I will quit the business for good .
You know what I think .
I have owned WGOV for years, and you are right the float is very small. Cramer did not warn his viewers (I happened to be watching Wed) about going slow. I agree that the stock will ease a bit, but over the next couple of quarters it should move higher. Cramer has right about the fundamentals of this company. In the meantime sell near term options against your position.
I thought I heard Cramer say that Woodward (Woody for current and former employees) makes Wind Turbines. Not true. They make components for OEM Wind turbine manufacturers such as GE, Vestas, Siemens, etc...They are a great company in good financial shape with a good product mix. Aerospace is a high margin business for them but they definately are getting a strong revenue boost in their products for Wind turbines.
Not sure that I am happy to see Cramer push the stock, as it most likely was fairly valued where it was. I am sure the traders love it though.
But, it is entertaining to see the message board get an equal number of posts in one day compared to the entire last two years combined.
I put a hold on the stock until the crazy media stuff goes down...and I would like to see an increase in the dividend...it is about time to get the dividend return up to 1.5% to 2% instead of the measley return we get today....
