The soon-to-be shuttered products include Yahoo’s BlackBerry app, Yahoo Clues, Yahoo Avatars, Yahoo App Search, Yahoo Sports IQ, Yahoo Updates API, and the Yahoo Message Boards website.
“Ultimately, we’re making these changes in an effort to sharpen our focus,” Yahoo EVP of platform Jay Rossiter said in a statement. “By continuing to hone in on our core products and experiences, we’ll be able to make our existing products the very best they can be.”
seems a little crazy to me......they'll lose a lot of "eyeballs" as well as pages to place ads, the combination should result in lowrer ad revs
but the company has another lady driver....at least this one is hot the last one was just foul mouthed
one guess I made when yahoo first announced an ex-googleite as new ceo was that it would be driven into the ground and end up a google property one day....we'll see....but it sure looks to fit the pattern!
