    September 11 Memories

Sorry I posted this, apparently nobody gives a damn anymore. The "workforce reduction" of September 11 seems to be in good standing.

Severance costs kept low of course.

    • You are wrong. People remember what happened on 9/11/2001 in their own ways. You don't have a lock on remembering what happened that day any more than I do who lost 4 friends that day.

Get your facts straight to start with. Pat Ryan was CEO then. Not the boy from McKinsey. It was Mr Ryan who stepped up to the plate after 9/11 despite what you may think since your sense of history seems to be distorted.

Please have a little respect for the Aon employees who died that day.

    • Although I didn't work for Aon on September 11, 2001, I did start there shortly after that. The first anniversary of 9-11 was quite memorable and honoring to those that lost their lives. However, after that, the "ceremony" was reduced to just meeting by the elevators for a moment of silence, to eventually....nothing.

Unfortunately, it does seem that the corporate side of Aon has completely forgotten about the people lost on September 11, and how it affected those that remain. The corporate side of Aon is more concerned about making the stockholder happy, keeping margins low, and looking good to Wall Street.
