Although I didn't work for Aon on September 11, 2001, I did start there shortly after that. The first anniversary of 9-11 was quite memorable and honoring to those that lost their lives. However, after that, the "ceremony" was reduced to just meeting by the elevators for a moment of silence, to eventually....nothing.
Unfortunately, it does seem that the corporate side of Aon has completely forgotten about the people lost on September 11, and how it affected those that remain. The corporate side of Aon is more concerned about making the stockholder happy, keeping margins low, and looking good to Wall Street.
