Some fund dumped 400-500k in the AM ... others bought as much plus, over the rest of the day.
Company cleaned up balance sheet - reorganized debt & wrote off goodwill in 1st qtr. What's next? 1) Possible stock buy back 2) Earnings & sales growth 3) U.S. v. Goncalves, 09-cr-00335, U.S. District Court.
looks like they moved 10K back to the latest they could. also gave inst/hedgie the time to toast this puppy. nice for the insiders stock options, i guess

funds add & dump all the time & usually without great price movements. moving a stock down like this requires a software model. i doubt there are 15 inst. holders that could dump that much & the MM are suppose to see it orderly (in a perfect world). inst ownership has doubled over the last several months, all with the price declining. guggenheim has 10%. somebody has dumped millions shares in the last month alone taking out the little guys stops. usually thats to buy several times more at discount or simply short & cover on the taken out stops. plenty of bottom feeders to sell for 10% profit & hedgie still gets shares for $'s less.

1.= no, 80 million loan to pay down 2. should happen, making money, no more goodwill to write off or moving expenses 3. everything i've seen looks like s&w completely cooperated including fake billing & shipping @ fed request
i'll add a few; 4. cerberus buyout at a $4 bargain basement price, maybe why they canceled ipo 5. US military will replace 9mm with .45 this fall. M&P 45 seems to meet all the specs right down to the additional threaded barrel & optional safeties.
