I'm guessing over 30 cents a share earnings this QTR
Even with the extra costs associated with new product launches and attending sales conventions, they should have incredible revenue and earnings this QTR. Analysts estimates of 21 cents are a joke, considering SWHC is buying back $35 million in stock and sales are going gangbusters. Just google "gun sales" to see how stock is flying off the shelves. Even though their manufacturing capacity has increased, I expect backlog orders to increase substantially. Hopefully, they will pay down their remaining debt and start a dividend like RGR. 2013 is looking to be a great year for gun manufacturers.
It could go either way. If imports are banned and we have limited legislation or regulation of the US firearms industry you will see profit increase even more because of the additional demand for guns manufactured in the US. However if we get regulation or legislation that reclassifies sporting rifles manufactured in the US we could get the carpet pulled out from under our feet. There are too many unknowns for me to make any guesses beyond the first qtr.
