If so it was not due to gun sales... please read this from this morning:
#$%$ Sporting reports Q4 EPS $1.03, consensus $1.06
Reports Q4 revenue $1.81b, consensus $1.86B. In the fourth quarter, the company experienced continued momentum in athletic footwear and apparel along with strong sales in hunting that exceeded our expectations. These increases were partially offset by lower-than-anticipated sales in outerwear and cold weather accessories, as well as a significant decline in the fitness category.
Didn't DKS stop carrying MSRs in libtard reaction to the Sandy Massacre? If I'm remembering that correctly, they probably shot themselves in the foot and ticked off gun enthusiasts (other than hunters). If that's the case it'd be pretty foolish to sell gun mfr stocks based upon their report, especially in light of the Feb NICS numbers. Wouldn't stop irrational shorties from tryin' though.
Exactly. The minute I heard that they pulled those guns off the shelves I decided that they would not get another cent of my money. Not that I went there a lot, but I do (did) get other stuff there on occasion.
If they want to play that side of the argument, I will play mine. Plus they are overpriced for guns and ammo anyways.
