So much for the buck, they're not even supporting 88 cents. Yes, I know, temporary, but I took half my position off the table this morning, because I don't like the price action, it could be headed into the $8's. Even if it holds, I'm more comfortable having that money elsewhere in the MLP universe. Management has not had a sterling track record here, I bought in only because it was so cheap. Time to move on.
You could, it's obviously cheaper now. But management's record here . . . stinks. The excessive leverage going into the financial crisis, suspending the distribution, the whole restructuring mess, the way the MLP was designed in the first place. There are many other MLP's that did not go through all this drama.
QRE is the best managed MLP with a higher yield I'm aware of, though I want to see the Q3 numbers. VNR is superb, yields about the same. Both of course are upstreams, and if you wanted more midstream exposure you have to go lower on yield unfortunately.
