I have sold some 7.50 puts for Oct, Nov, and a whole bunch for Jan 2012. The Oct ones just expired worthless (just barely). I've been realizing even though I believe ASFI to be worth $11+, it's very hard to time when the market will realize it or if/when the buyback will kick in.
However, given their excellent balance sheet and continued ability to generate cash, I'm a lot more confident that the potential downside from the current level is extremely limited. So while I still wait for my share to appreciate, in the meantime I'm raking in cash from the puts. Only problem I've been having is extremely high bid/asks spreads. If you sell, you pretty much have to be committed to holding them to expiration.
