FOREVER DROPPING?
How much is it going to drop? Is it time to jump aboard yet? or should I just wait until it hits the very bottom?

GM has many competitors with products many people consider superior. CAT has competitors with good products, but CAT has some superior products. Many people consider CAT to be the global leader. That's not true about GM.

Well GM has had a failing business model for deck ages, I shorted them in 2005 right in middle of the industrial boom. AIG is a total business model. GM is an example of company that did not prepare to make money in a down turn and AIG is an example of a company who help cause it. These are poor comparisons.

By your comment, you're asking if you should "jump in now or wait until it hits bottom"
All I can say is if you feel it has not hit bottom, then why jump in now?
Actually, you should wait for some stabilization, higher level consolidation, and then buy at the breakout - otherwise, you're just chasing this thing down and it is senseless- 1 Reply to gitarpikntrader

Good advice but I see CAT stabiliing here with very little to go down from here. A lot of fear selling. Best investment here is the options on the call side.. I like the April calls at 24.00@ 1.48... of course all jmho
